After more than 40 years at Earls Court, the London Boat Show will take
up residence from 2004 in a new exhibition space at Docklands.
ExCel,
which will become London's largest exhibition area, can offer 98,000 square
feet of space plus an overspill into the adjacent Royal Victoria Dock for
floating exhibitions. It is expected that the additional space will be used
both for boats too large currently to be displayed at Earls Court, and for
smaller manufacturers.
The public should also be pleased by the ease of
access, whether by car or public transport, and with the numerous facilities in
the area for weary, hungry and thirsty visitors.
