Teams wanted for "It's a Knockout" fun at Drayton Manor Theme Park. |
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is looking for teams of
four to take part in Splash & Dash, an adrenalin driven day of fun and
games at Drayton Manor Family Theme Park in Tamworth on Saturday 10
September.

Teams will compete in a number of games including mini
hovercraft racing, motorised beer keg driving, racing in inflatable astro
balls, romping around in foam and playing human table football on a giant sized
inflatable pitch. Other games will test your brainpower, teamwork and at times
your bravado!
Anne Maton, RNLI fundraising manager says "We are really
excited about this Splash & Dash event, which is the first of its kind for
the RNLI in this part of the country. We'd like 'up for it' teams of people to
come and join us for what will be an exhilarating day of fun and games at
Drayton Manor and will raise money for the RNLI's volunteer lifeboat crews. We
can promise everyone a day to remember".
All teams taking part will
receive free entry to the theme park for all team members. Spectators and team
supporters can gain half price entry to Drayton Manor for the day. Splash &
Dash will be a great day out for all the family.
Interested teams should
contact Audrey Farr at the RNLI on 0161 787 8779.
Visitors to Drayton
Manor will also have the opportunity to visit the RNLI's mobile sea safety
roadshow, a 20ft trailer which is designed to look like an Atlantic 75
lifeboat. The interior of the trailer demonstrates how quickly sea conditions
can change and aims to show how, with simple precautions, beach and sea users
can remain safe.Visitors to Drayton Manor will also have the opportunity to
